September 2011, I lost my beloved 14-year old Chow/Shepherd mix, Chloe,
to kidney failure and, at that time, thought it would be a long time
before I got a new dog. One
evening, on a whim, I just started searching some of the animal shelter
websites around Austin, TX and saw the cutest Australian Shepherd mix
puppy and wanted to find out more about the breed. So, I started searching for Australian Shepherd’s on the internet and randomly came across Richard’s website. I guess you could say it was perfect timing because he had just put up pictures of Bits’ and Hemi’s 4-week old puppies. As soon as I read Richard’s story and saw Lexi I knew I had found my new companion. I had never “purchased” a dog before as my previous furry friend was a shelter puppy. Needless
to say, I was a little hesitant but I emailed Richard that evening and
he called me back the next morning, even though he was out of town. Dealing
with Richard was a pleasure and I only wish I could have met him when I
picked up Lexi (he was taking Lexi’s brother to the airport in Houston,
TX so he could go to his forever home in FL) but his dad was there to
meet us and show us around. I was impressed by the kennel setup – it is very apparent that Richard cares for these puppies and their parents. Lexi, who is now 9-weeks old and has been home with me for a little over a week, is the sweetest girl, very smart and healthy. She has settled into her forever home very quickly and is already spoiled rotten by my mom and aunt!! Everyone that meets Lexi immediately falls in love with her and comments on what a beautiful puppy she is. When
I took her to my vet for her first exam after coming home, everyone
that works at the clinic had to stop by the exam room to meet her and
they all wanted to take her home. I would definitely recommend Four Seasons to anyone looking for a Mini Aussie. A big thanks goes out to Richard for making my first “purchase” a very pleasant and painless experience.

Well Richard we are hooked!!! After purchasing Hurley and seeing
how you have done such a wonderful job with him, we could not wait for
Bailey to have another litter, so we decided to purchase Gus. YOU ARE
TO BE COMMENDED FOR ALL THE HARD WORK AND THE COMMITMENT YOU HAVE MADE
TO BREEDING AND RAISNG SUCH WONDERFUL PUPPIES!! Hurley is such a
Happy,Healthy and well socialized puppy and we have no doubt Gus will be
the same. We are doing what we can to get the word out about your
puppies. Every time someone asks we make sure they know where Hurley
came from and that dealing with you has been such a wonderful
experience, that we are purchasing another puppy from you. We get
comments on Hurley every where we go about what a beautiful little guy
he is. When we are out in public we also get comments from people how
they are amazed because Hurley is so calm no matter what is going on
around him. This is all due to you!! ( because of the time and the love
you put into your puppies.) Thank you for allowing Hurley to come live
with us and also for taking such great care of Gus, till we can bring
him home.

After hours of researching the Internet, we ran across Richards website. After reading what Richard had been through and seeing his puppies, we decided to give him a call. It was the best decision we could have made. Dealing with Richard has been a wonderful experience. Everything he does, he does for the love of his dogs and his puppies. Hurley has brought us such joy in the short time he has been with us, he is so well socialized and we are amazed how smart he is. He is such a happy healthy puppy! For anyone who has reservations about dealing with someone from another state rest assured you will have nothing to worry about dealing with 4 Season Kennels and its owner Richard Lee. Richard kept in constant contact with us from the time we decided to purchase Hurley from him. He even called when he put Hurley on the plane and wanted us to call him when Hurley made it to Florida. Richard took care of everything from making the reservations, to buying his crate, making sure Hurley had food and water, to getting Hurley to the airport and putting him on the plane. Richard also asked a lot of questions himself , about the home life his puppy was going to have. (Its all about the love he has for his dogs) We have had such a wonderful experience with Richard and our newest addition Hurley, that we are planning to purchase another puppy from Richard when Bailey has her next litter. Our only regret was not being able to meet Richard and his family in person, so we could express our appreciation for all the hard work and the love he puts into his puppies. It definitely shows in Hurley!!!!! THANK YOU RICHARD AND 4 SEASONS KENNELS FOR MAKING THIS A WONDERFUL AND ENJOYING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!

"We had a great visit with the puppies, mom and dad, and your brothers yesterday. It was so refreshing to see the wonderful environment you have created for breeding and socializing your puppies. We enjoyed all of the dogs and had a difficult time not wanting to take Hurley and Boomer too! We will stick with our plan to take Harley as she is delightful and met all of our expectations and tests. We did have a hard time deciding not to switch to Hurley - he is beautiful, playful and easy going too. We really loved Bailey. She was so friendly and accepting of everyone around her puppies.
